A Nation in Motion - Request

Dear Friends,

On behalf of POS President, Tom Muzzonigro, MD, (member of the AAOS Board of Councilors Communications Committee), I enthusiastically encourage each and every state orthopaedic society to place a link to "A Nation in Motion" on your Society website. Some of you may have already linked the page to your site and I thank you. If you haven't had the opportunity, please take the time to visit the website and also to view the remarkable video "Second First". Second First is a video concept that captures the powerful voice of a patient who, because of orthopaedic care, can re-experience something for the first time.

The campaign is an extremely effective platform for the orthopaedic community to engage patients, the public, media, and policymakers on issues about bone and joint health, and further illustrates the value we all bring to our communities and society at large. Second First can also be used as an effective marketing tool to re-energize students, residents, members and non-member orthopaedic surgeons about your organization"s value.

Thank You!

Beth Weachter, Executive Director

Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society
